10 dead, including 5 tourists, after bus crashes in southern Egypt

Cairo, Apr 13 (EFE).- Ten people died and 14 others were injured on Wednesday when a tourist bus collided with a van on a road in southern Egypt’s Aswan province.

The accident left five Egyptians, four French tourists and a Belgian dead, according to a statement issued by the governorate located some 900 kilometers south of Cairo.

The collision occurred on the road between the Abu Simbel temple and the city of Aswan.

The injured were moved to Aswan’s public hospital with “injuries ranged from fractures and bruises to superficial wounds,” the statement added. EFE
