9 killed in Sweden skydiving plane crash

Berlin, Jul 9 (EFE).- Nine people were killed when a plane carrying skydivers crashed in southern Sweden, authorities confirmed.

Swedish police immediately confirmed there were no survivors in the accident on Thursday.

The DHC-2 Turbo Beaver aircraft had one pilot and eight skydivers aboard when it crashed shortly after take off from Örebro airport, local media reported.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, with fresh details expected at a press conference Friday. EFE
