Las consecuencias de no desmaquillarte

The Consequences of Not Removing Your Makeup

Sometimes we tend to forget how important it is to remove our makeup and wash our faces. This is why, you will find in this article enough reasons to stop the bad habit of going to bed with a dirty face, even if you are really tired.

Makeup can beautify and conceal our imperfections, but it can also clog our pores – not to mention that during the day our skin accumulates dirt and impurities. But that’s not all, many times we touch our faces with dirty hands without even noticing it, and this factor, combined with sweat and the environmental pollution, doesn’t let our skin breathe well.

In multiple occasions, acne and opaque skin are the result of a rusty skin due to lack of cleanliness, so it is very important to use a good makeup remover and/or facial soap. Whatever your type of skin is, it is extremely necessary to keep a good facial cleansing routine, as our skin regenerates and renews cells every night. By not doing this, we are stopping the process and instead we are increasing the chances of wrinkles and premature aging. According to studies, a month without removing your makeup is equivalent to 10 years of aging.

Additionally, a poorly removed makeup can accumulate mites and bacteria in our pores, thus eliminating the production of collagen and producing irregularities in our skin. In the case of the eyes, if the makeup is not removed, it can cause conjunctivitis and the fall of our eyelashes.

In conclusion, a day without washing your face is equal to a day of aging.
