¿Usted es un maestro natural? ¿Está interesado en generar un impacto positivo en la vida de un estudiante? Esta es su oportunidad de encontrar su pasión y de hacer una diferencia en la vida de los alumnos de Memphis. Nuestro distrito escolar siempre necesita de individuos de orígenes diversos para poder educar mejor a nuestros estudiantes.
¿Cuál es su pasión? Yo, por ejemplo, encontré mi pasión indirectamente. Muchos maestros vienen a esta profesión porque quieren trabajar con niños; unos sólo quieren motivar e inspirar… Si les preguntan a muchos maestros por qué eligieron el trabajo, hay unos que pueden contestar y decirles que fue su llamado. Yo, personalmente, decidí enseñar porque tengo un amor por los idiomas y las culturas.
El Distrito de las Escuelas del Condado de Shelby tiene alrededor de 110.000 estudiantes de varios países y varias culturas. Nuestros estudiantes necesitan individuos constantes que están dedicados a ayudarlos a crecer académicamente. Se necesitan maestros que tengan expectativas altas, que inspiren diariamente y que puedan crear un ambiente seguro y positivo para animar la confianza de nuestros niños. Hay un montón de oportunidades e incentivos que ofrecen las Escuelas del Condado de Shelby. El Distrito ofrece bonos para los maestros nuevos, junto con incentivos para la retención de maestros en áreas críticas.

What’s your passion? I found my passion indirectly. Many teachers join the craft because they want to work with children, some just want to motivate and inspire… When you ask many teachers why they chose the work, they may even answer and say that it was their calling. I chose to teach because I have a love for languages and cultures.
The Shelby County Schools District has about 110, 000 students of various cultural backgrounds and upbringings. Our students need constant figures that are dedicated to help them grow academically. They need teachers who bestow high expectations upon them, who inspire them daily, and who can provide them with a nurturing and supportive environment to boost their confidence.
There are a lot of opportunities and incentives with Shelby County Schools. The District offers signing bonuses for first year educators, along with incentives for teacher retention in critical subject areas.
