MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — Youth violence in our city has recently become noticeable, since minors are the ones who are committing most of the crimes.
From robberies to muggings, crimes have multiplied alerting our society that something is seriously wrong.
A local organization is focused on helping to prevent crime by working with children and teenagers.
The Sheriff’s & Police Activities League of Memphis and Shelby County (MSPAL) works year-round to prevent juvenile crime and violence through positive relationship building amongst kids, cops, and communities that promotes excellence in both sportsmanship and mentoring.

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — La delincuencia juvenil en nuestra ciudad se ha hecho notar recientemente, ya que son los menores de edad quienes están cometiendo la mayor parte de los delitos.
Desde robos hasta atracos, los delitos se han multiplicado alertando a nuestra sociedad de que algo anda muy mal.
Una organización local se enfoca en ayudar a prevenir el crimen trabajando con niños y adolescentes.
La Liga de Actividades Policiales y del Sheriff de Memphis y el Condado de Shelby (“Sheriff’s & Police Activities League of Memphis and Shelby County”/MSPAL, en inglés) trabaja todo el año para prevenir el crimen y la violencia juvenil a través de la construcción de relaciones positivas entre niños, policías y comunidades que promueven la excelencia tanto en el espíritu deportivo como en la tutoría.
