MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — Las fiestas decembrinas están a la vuelta de la esquina y con ellas viene uno de los eventos anuales más importantes de Shelby Farms Park, “STARRY NIGHTS”, que se llevará a cabo del 22 de noviembre al 28 de diciembre.

Siendo el festival de luces más grande de la ciudad, “Starry Nights” o “Noche de Estrellas” se ha convertido en una tradición navideña para muchas familias del Medio Sur. La extensa exhibición de figuras iluminadas, junto con la variedad de entretenimiento que se ofrece tanto para grandes como para chicos, hace que la ocasión se preste para que todos, sin excepción alguna, sientan la magia del espíritu de la Navidad. Y este año vendrá con más sorpresas y actividades que nunca, incluyendo un camino de media milla rodeado de luces navideñas a lo largo del lago Hyde, un taller para construir un osito de peluche (Build-a-Bear Workshop), un paseo en el Tren de Bastón de Caramelo (Candy Cane Train) y, por supuesto, la visita de Santa Claus.

La Villa Mágica del Muérdago (The FedEx Mistletoe Village), ubicada  en el centro de información al turista/visitante (The First Tennessee Foundation Visitor Center), también volverá a ser parte de este evento. Aquí, todos podrán tomarse sus fotos con Santa (paquetes desde los $25), ver a los animalitos del zoológico interactivo infantil, comprar recuerditos, tomar un delicioso chocolate caliente y hasta escuchar villancicos. En adición a todo esto, habrá paseos en camello y en pony, paseos en carruajes, camiones de comida, artesanías hechas por artistas locales, etc.

Las entradas para este espectáculo de más de 2 millones de luces LED (bombillos de bajo consumo) se pueden comprar por adelantado en Ticketmaster.com o en la tienda del parque, The Lake’s Edge Gift Shop. O, si así lo prefieres, puedes optar por comprar tus entradas en la entrada del parque el día del show.

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — The holidays are just around the corner and with them comes one of the most important annual events of Shelby Farms Park, “STARRY NIGHTS,” which will be held from November 22 to December 28.

Being the largest holiday light show and festival in the city, “Starry Nights” has become a Christmas tradition for many families in the Mid-South. The extensive display of illuminated figures, along with a wide variety of entertainment available for both adults and children, makes the occasion suitable for everyone, without exception, to feel the magic of the Christmas spirit. And this year, it will come with more surprises and activities than ever, including a half-mile walking path along Hyde Lake featuring additional Christmas lights, a Build-a-Bear Workshop, the Candy Cane Train, and, of course, a visit from Santa Claus.

The FedEx Mistletoe Village, located at the First Tennessee Foundation Visitor Center, will also be part of this event. Here, everyone can take their pictures with Santa (packages starting at $25), visit the small petting zoo, buy souvenirs, drink a delicious hot chocolate and even listen to live holiday music with carolers. In addition, there will be camel and pony rides, carriage rides, food trucks, and more.

Tickets for this show of more than 2 million LED lights can be purchased in advance at Ticketmaster.com or at the park’ store, The Lake’s Edge Gift Shop. Otherwise, you can choose to buy your tickets at the entrance of the park on the day of the show.
