Durante la jornada de conferencias de Hispanicize en la ciudad de Miami, Florida, del pasado 17 al 19 de abril, Orangel Balza, periodista deportivo y director ejecutivo de la organización Alfonso CHICO Carrasquel Foundation Award, estuvo presente para cubrir los Positive Impact Awards (PIA). El periodista nos compartió su deseo por llevar el legado del Comportamiento Cultural (CC) de Alfonso CHICO Carrasquel como estandarte para motivar los valores de ser pioneros, demostrar orgullo y obrar con pasión en todo lo que hagamos.
En la Filantropía de Cultura consideramos que ese Comportamiento Cultural (CC) es la clave para lograr hacer que la memoria de nuestras tradiciones se convierta en motor para la prosperidad en nuestras comunidades. El desarrollo económico está directamente ligado al comportamiento de los consumidores, entonces con el objetivo en mente de dejar una huella positiva a través de la cultura, podemos convertirnos en embajadores de nuestros valores y abrirle las puertas del progreso a otros. Los PIA son los únicos premios nacionales que unifican año tras año a la comunidad hispana a nivel nacional. Por esa y muchas otras razones, el periodista Balza llevó la memoria de Alfonso CHICO Carrasquel al evento para compartir con algunos de los que allí estuvieron presentes.
Dentro de los siguientes meses, la organización Alfonso CHICO Carrasquel Foundation Award estará ofreciendo eventos culturales donde se harán presentes algunos de los peloteros latinoamericanos más destacados del Béisbol de Grandes Ligas (MLB). El deporte, en este caso, nos sirve de puente para aumentar el impacto de la cultura en el avance de la economía y esa pasión que demostró CHICO, dentro y fuera del terreno, que nos sirva de inspiración a todos para seguir unificando esfuerzos para la prosperidad.

During the 2018 Hispanicize gathering in the city of Miami, Florida, from April 17 to 19, Orangel Balza, a sports journalist and the Executive Director of the organization Alfonso CHICO Carrasquel Foundation Award, was present to cover the Positive Impact Awards (PIA). Mr. Balza shared his desire to bring the Cultural Conduct (CC) of the Alfonso CHICO Carrasquel’s legacy as a banner to motivate the values of being pioneers, acting with pride, and being driven by passion in everything we do.
In Culture Philanthropy, we consider that Cultural Conduct (CC) is the key to making the memory of our traditions become the engine for prosperity in our communities. Economic development is directly linked to consumer behavior, so with the objective in mind of leaving a positive footprint through culture, we can become ambassadors of our values and open the doors of progress to others. The PIAs are the only national awards that unify the Hispanic community nationwide year after year. For that and many other reasons, Mr. Balza brought the memory of Alfonso CHICO Carrasquel to the event to share with some of those who attended.
Within the next few months, the Alfonso CHICO Carrasquel Foundation Award organization will be offering cultural events where some of the most outstanding Latin American players in Major League Baseball (MLB) will be present. Sports, in this case, is serving as a bridge to increase the impact of culture in the advancement of the economy. Additionally, that passion displayed by CHICO, on and off the field, will serve as an inspiration to all of us to continue unifying our efforts in prosperity.
