The Children’s Museum of Memphis Celebrates 30th Anniversary with a Great Reopening
El Museo de los Niños de Memphis celebra 30 años con gran reapertura

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — After being closed for several weeks due to the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), the Children’s Museum of Memphis will be celebrating its 30th anniversary with a major reopening event on Tuesday, June 16.
“June 16, 1990, will forever be a landmark date in the hearts of the visionaries whose dream of a children’s museum in their hometown became a reality when the doors opened for the first time. Over the past thirty years, we have seen our mission come to life in the eyes of children: engaging children in playful learning,” stated the Children’s Museum of Memphis (CMOM) in a press release.
For its celebratory event, CMOM will be offering a $16 discount on new, renewed and gift memberships. This offer will be valid until June 30.
During this reopening period, the museum will be taking all preventive measures outlined by CDC to prevent the spread of COVID-19. It is also mandatory to wear masks to visit the place – the museum will have masks available for sale at a very low cost at the entrance.

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — Luego de permanecer cerrado por varias semanas debido a la pandemia del coronavirus (COVID-19), el Museo de los Niños de Memphis estará celebrando su aniversario núm. 30 con un gran evento de reapertura el martes, 16 de junio.
“El 16 de junio de 1990 será siempre una fecha histórica para aquellos visionarios cuyo sueño de tener un museo para niños en su ciudad natal fue hecho realidad cuando las puertas se abrieron por primera vez. En los últimos treinta años, hemos visto nuestra misión cobrar vida ante los ojos de los niños: involucrar a los niños en el aprendizaje lúdico”, se lee en un comunicado de prensa del Children’s Museum of Memphis (CMOM, por sus siglas en inglés).
Para su evento de celebración, el CMOM estará ofreciendo un descuento de $16 en membresías nuevas, renovadas y de regalo. Esta oferta estará vigente hasta el 30 de junio.
Durante este período de reapertura, el museo estará tomando todas las medidas de prevención indicadas por los CDC para evitar la propagación del COVID-19. También es obligatorio usar mascarillas para visitar el lugar -el museo tendrá mascarillas disponibles para la venta a un costo muy bajo en la entrada.
