Uno muerto en accidente automovilístico en autopista 385 cerca de Hacks Cross

SHELBY COUNTY, TN (WREG) — One person was killed in a single-car accident Saturday afternoon (Feb. 29) on Highway 385, forcing authorities to close a portion of the highway while they investigated. The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office said around 4 p.m. that deputies were on the scene of the single-car crash on Highway 385 near Hacks Cross Road. One person was taken to Regional One Hospital in extremely critical condition, the sheriff’s office said. Authorities said around 7:40 p.m. that the person was pronounced dead at the hospital. Eastbound Highway 385 was closed at Winchester Road following the crash, and drivers were urged use an alternate route. The roadway opened again just before 6 p.m.This is still an ongoing investigation.

SHELBY COUNTY, TN (LPL/WREG) — Una persona murió en un accidente automovilístico el sábado por la tarde (29 de febrero del 2020) en la autopista 385, lo que obligó a las autoridades a cerrar una parte de la carretera mientras estaban investigando. La Oficina del Sheriff del Condado de Shelby dijo alrededor de las 4 p.m. que los agentes estaban en la escena del accidente automovilístico en la autopista 385, cerca de Hacks Cross Road. Una persona fue llevada al Hospital Regional One en condiciones extremadamente críticas, dijo la Oficina del Sheriff. Las autoridades dijeron que alrededor de las 7:40 p.m.  la persona fue declarada muerta en el hospital. La Autopista 385 del Este se cerró a la altura de Winchester Road luego del accidente, y se instó a los conductores a utilizar una ruta alternativa. La carretera se abrió de nuevo justo antes de las 6 p.m. Aún se está investigando este caso.
