Australian cricket legend Shane Warne dead at 52

Sports Desk, Mar 4 (EFE).- Australian cricket legend Shane Warne has died at the age of 52 from a suspected heart attack, his management company said Friday.

Tributes came pouring in for the former Australian cricket captain, regarded as one of the greatest bowlers of all time.

Former Indian batsman Virender Sehwag tweeted: “Cannot believe it. One of the greatest spinners, the man who made spin cool, superstart Shane Warne is no more.

“My heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and fans all around the world.”

Warne’s management company MPC Entertainment said in a statement that the former cricketer had died on March 4 on the island of Koh Samui in Thailand. EFE
