Bahraini crown prince discusses Iran nuclear talks with Netahyahu

Manama, Feb 25 (efe-epa).- Bahrain’s Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad al-Khalifa discussed the Iranian nuclear talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday.
The Bahraini official news agency (BNA) said that “the importance of regional participation in any negotiations on the Iranian nuclear deal, provided that these negotiations include broader issues to consolidate regional security and stability, was stressed,” in a phone call.
Both leaders also discussed joint investments in health care and cooperation in various fields, BNA added.
This call comes after US President Joe Biden said that he is seeking to return to the negotiation table with Iran in order to revive the 2015 nuclear accord.
Former US president Donald Trump pulled out from the deal in 2018.
In September, Israel signed agreements establishing diplomatic relations with Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and since then, the three countries have focused on joint cooperation as well as forging an alliance against the Islamic republic. EFE-EPA
