Barça announce Man. City’s Eric García as 2nd signing of the summer

Sports Desk, Jun 1 (EFE).- Spanish center-back Eric García is set to join FC Barcelona, following in the footsteps of fellow Manchester City player Sergio Agüero.
Born just outside Barcelona, García spent most of his youth career with the Catalan giants before making the move to England in 2017.
García will officially rejoin Barça once his contract with Manchester City expires on July 1.
His new contract see him at the Blaugrana until the end of the 2025/26 season with a buyout clause of 400 million euros.
“A player with a great future ahead of him, he is a defender very much suited to Barça’s style of play,” the club said of the 20-year-old in a statement.
“Excellent at bringing the ball out from the back and an ability to read the game well, he has been able to improve further on his skills during his time in England with Manchester City.”
García has also been called up by Spain for this year’s Euros.
