Barcelona, May 1 (EFE).- The captain of Barcelona women’s team, Vicky Losada, believes that her team has a unique chance to make the Champions League final at the expense of Paris Saint Germain when the Blaugrana host the French team in the second leg of the semifinal on Sunday.
In the first leg, Barça squandered an early lead in a 1-1 draw to take an away goal back to Catalonia.
“We feel very good. We know we have a golden opportunity to be in a final again,” Losada said during an interview with Efe.
“We are trying to improve what we did wrong in Paris. The result was good, but we are aware that it is now life-and-death 90 minutes,” she added.
The Catalan team are aiming for their second Champions League final appearance having ended the 2018-2019 edition as runner-up to Lyon.
Despite admitting that her team deserved more in Paris, the 30-year-old prefers to think about Sunday’s game to what happened in the past.
“We have to play our game, have the ball, have character and go out to win. When one goes out to tie or to maintain the result almost always ends up losing,” she added. EFE
