“We the people of the United States…,” as the preamble to the Constitution of the United States of America indicates, makes progress possible because of the unification of cultures represented within this nation. This moment in history, through the contribution of the cultures represented among our immigrants, will define the next decades of prosperity for our country. With this challenge in unifying efforts to design the future of the country, we resume gathering voices for the documentary Somos La Voz Nacional.
The film is about a series of interviews with people of Hispanic background and those close to the culture. All people who have dedicated themselves to using our heritage for their work or studies. After we interview at least 100 experts about their experience as Hispanic immigrants or interacting with them, we will be visiting several states across the nation and form focus groups to propose solutions about the issues that affect us the most as a national culture.
Anyone interested in having their interview included in the documentary can write to us at ouibiensru33@gmail.com.
