MEMPHIS, TN (LPL/WMC) — La Oficina de Investigación de Tennessee emitió una Alerta Amber para un bebé desaparecido.
Steven Smith de 3 semanas de edad, fue secuestrado por su padre Stevie Boyd, quien no tiene la custodia del niño.
El bebé fue sacado de su casa de Memphis en Graceland Avenue en los Pepper Tree Apartments el martes por la noche alrededor de las 10:00 p.m. La policía dijo que Boyd le disparó a la madre después de que tomó al niño.
La policía ahora cree que Boyd todavía está en el complejo de apartamentos con el niño.
El bebé mide 19 pulgadas y pesa alrededor de 7 libras. Lo vieron por última vez con una camisa negra y un pañal.
Boyd, de 21 años, se describe con una estatura de 6 pies, cabello castaño y ojos marrones, pesa alrededor de 136 libras. Fue visto por última vez vistiendo ropa negra con un sombrero negro y rojo.
Boyd se considera armado.

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued an Amber Alert for a missing infant.
Steven Smith, who is 3-weeks-old, was taken by his father Stevie Boyd, who does not have custody of
the child.
The baby boy was taken from his Memphis home on Graceland Avenue at Pepper Tree Apartment Tuesday night around 10:00 p.m. Police said Boyd fired shots at the mother after he took the child.
Police now believe Boyd is still at the apartment complex with the child.
The infant is described as 19-inches-long and weighs about 7 pounds. He was last seen in a black shirt and diaper.
Boyd, 21, is described as a 6-feet tall, with brown hair, and brown eyes weighing about 136 pounds. He was last seen wearing all black clothing with a black and red hat.
Boyd is considered armed.
TACT officers are trying to negotiate with Boyd. They said their priority is the child’s safety.
