10th Annual Memphis Runs for Autism 5K

Décima Carrera Anual de Memphis Runs for Autism 5K

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — Memphis Runs for Autism will happens Saturday, August 19th at 8:00 a.m. at the Holy Rosary School, 4841 Park Ave, Memphis, TN, 38117.

Memphis Runs for Autism was created by volunteers in an effort to help raise funds for The ANGEL Program and touch the lives of children living with autism.

The ANGEL program helps support and educate children with Autism in a classroom setting.

All proceeds from this event directly help to: underwrite operating expenses such as salaries for teachers and therapists who care for these children, support technology upgrades and provide scholarships for families affected by autism.

The race serves as a memorial to Cathy Pinter, a former Holy Rosary teaching assistant and passionate supporter of The ANGEL Program. Immediately after her passing, Cathy’s family chose to honor her memory through volunteer work and fund raising for The ANGEL Program.

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — La Carrera Anual de Memphis Runs for Autism tendrá lugar el sábado, 19 de agosto a las 8:00 a. m. en Holy Rosary School, 4841 Park Ave, Memphis, TN, 38117.

Memphis Runs for Autism fue creado por voluntarios en un esfuerzo por ayudar a recaudar fondos para el Programa ANGEL y tocar las vidas de los niños que viven con autismo.

El programa ANGEL ayuda a apoyar y educar a los niños con autismo en un salón de clases.

Todas las ganancias de este evento ayudan directamente a: pagar los gastos operativos, como los salarios de los maestros y terapeutas que atienden a estos niños, respaldar las actualizaciones tecnológicas y otorgar becas a las familias afectadas por el autismo.

La carrera sirve como un homenaje a Cathy Pinter, ex asistente de enseñanza de Holy Rosary y apasionada partidaria del Programa ANGEL. Inmediatamente después de su fallecimiento, la familia de Cathy decidió honrar su memoria a través del trabajo voluntario y la recaudación de fondos para el Programa ANGEL.
