DCL Is Recognized with the Impact Award at the 31st. Annual Memorial Ceremony for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — Breakfast with Books (“Desayuno con Libros”/DCL) received the Impact Award from the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s Commemoration Committee.

The ceremony was held at Union Valley Baptist Church on Sunday, January 14.

Presented by District 86’s State Representative Justin Pearson and Citizen for Better Services’ President Johnny Mosley, the award honors DCL’s community service to Memphis and the surrounding areas.

Yuleiny Escobar and Misha Zepeda, members of the DCL team, received the recognition.

It is worth mentioning that other organizations and individuals in the community were awarded as well.

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — La organización Desayuno con Libros (DCL) recibió el Premio de Impacto por parte del comité de la ceremonia de conmemoración del Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

La ceremonia se llevó a cabo en la Iglesia Bautista Union Valley el domingo, 14 de enero.

Entregada por el representante estatal del distrito 86, Justin Pearson, y el presidente de la organización Citizen for Better Services, Johnny Mosley, la presea honra el servicio comunitario de DCL para Memphis y sus alrededores.

Yuleiny Escobar y Misha Zepeda, integrantes del equipo de DCL, recibieron el reconocimiento.

Cabe mencionar que otras organizaciones e individuos de la comunidad fueron también premiados.
