Trucking Company to Locate New HQ in Memphis

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL/WMC) — Una compañía de camiones está preparada para abrir camino en Memphis.

El gobernador de Tennessee, Bill Lee, estará presente para el anuncio.

Si bien la oficina de Lee no dijo para qué estará en la ciudad, el si estará en la inauguración de la compañía JNJ Express.

Según el Economic Development Growth Engine (EDGE), JNJ fue aprobado para un PILOT de 15 años para invertir en una nueva sede en American Way. EDGE dijo que la compañía invertirá $20 millones en el antiguo centro comercial Delta Square después de ampliar su instalación actual.

El anuncio también dijo que JNJ mantendrá sus 290 empleados existentes y agregará 222 nuevos empleos con un salario promedio de más de $65.000.

JNJ Express tiene más de 450 camiones en la carretera que trabajan con varias compañías, como FedEx, Walmart, Amazon y Pepsi.

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) — A trucking company is set to break ground in Memphis.

Tennessee Governor Bill Lee will be on hand for the announcement.

While Lee’s office did not say what he will be in town for, he will be at the groundbreaking for JNJ Express.

According to the Economic Development Growth Engine (EDGE), JNJ was approved for a 15-year PILOT to invest in a new headquarters on American Way. EDGE said the company will invest $20 million in the old Delta Square Shopping Center after outgrowing its current facility.

The announcement also said JNJ will keep its existing 290 employees and add 222 new jobs with an average salary of over $65,000.

JNJ Express has more than 450 trucks on the road working with several companies including FedEx, Walmart, Amazon and Pepsi.
