MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — A local boutique dedicated to selling clothing, shoes, accessories, and even cloth face masks for women is at its best, despite the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19). The reason for its success is not only based on the quality of the merchandise being sold, which is authentically handmade and from Mexico, but on the excellent customer service that is being provided and the wide variety of products available.

I am talking about Xochitl & Pink – Authentic Mexican Boutique, a Hispanic business that started at the end of 2018 and which, in so little time, has managed to exceed all expectations thanks to its innovative and multicultural concept.

According to Ana Sánchez, one of the owners of Xochitl & Pink, this business arose from the cultural heritage of her maternal family, which is originally from San Cristóbal de las Casas (Chiapas, Mexico) and is dedicated to crafts, specifically to embroidery and knitting.

In an exclusive interview with La Prensa Latina, Sánchez explained that, although her relatives in Chiapas are specialized in clothing, they have sought the collaboration of other artisans in their community to expand production, including that of jewelry, shoes, bags, etc., and thus being able to export their products to the United States through her.

Among the most popular products being sold at Xochitl & Pink are the huichol jewelry (handmade jewelry with small beads) and the cloth face masks.

As for the cloth face masks, these cost $10 and come in over a hundred different designs in ten colors of your choice. They also have cloth face masks for men and children.

According to the young businesswoman born in Mexico, the demand for face masks is enormous. Currently, they are selling between 1,000 and 1,500 cloth face masks per week.

“We have people working day and night, non-stop. I think my family members have not been able to earn so much money like they are doing now. And this is very good, because it is helping the economy in Mexico a lot,” Sánchez said.

In addition to retail sales, Xochitl & Pink has a wholesale system through which its products are sold in different parts of the country: Tennessee, New York, Washington, California, South Carolina, Texas, Alabama, etc.

All profits from Xochitl & Pink are distributed among Sánchez’s relatives (mother, uncles, and cousins). She is only responsible for placing orders and negotiating with the vendors. After all, “this is a family business and we all contribute to it.”

Xochitl & Pink constantly promotes its products on Instagram (@xochitl.pink) and Facebook (@xochitlandpink).

To shop at Xochitl & Pink, you can call Ana Sánchez at 901-827-3504. You can also send a direct message through their social media platforms to place orders.

In a few words, Xochitl & Pink can be described as a boutique that offers unique, elegant artisan fashion with a very contemporary style.
