8 Injured and Two Dead, the Balance of the Shooting During a Block Party in Orange Mound

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — MPD is investigating a shooting that occurred on Saturday, April 20, during a block party at Carnes and Grand in the Orange Mound neighborhood.

The balance of the tragic event that was shared on social networks was 8 injured and two young people dead.

Chalmar Fason, 22, and Antonio Humphrey, 16, were identified as the victims of the Orange Mound Park shooting.

According to the police report, around 300 people attended the improvised party and according to MPD there was no permit required for that activity.

In a video shared on social networks you can see the crowd attending the party, while some vehicles make dangerous maneuvers and that the passengers carry weapons and starting shoot, making the attendees run.

El saldo del trágico evento que fue compartido en redes sociales fue de 8 heridos y dos jóvenes muertos.

De acuerdo al reporte policíaco, alrededor de 300 personas asistieron a la fiesta improvisada y según MPD no se contaba con el permiso requerido para esa actividad.

En un video compartido en redes sociales se puede ver la multitud asistente en la fiesta, mientras unos vehículos hacen maniobras peligrosas y se puede ver que los pasajeros portan armas y disparan, haciendo correr a los asistentes.
