MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — With little time to organize, a group of activists was given the task of protesting near the ICE offices on Summer Avenue, on Tuesday, June 19.
Due to the media storm over the separation of families on the southern border, a local group presented themselves with placards condemning the Trump administration while they were condemned and cheered by motorists on Summer Avenue.
The protest was days before Trump signed an initiative to keep families together in detention due to pressure from numerous sectors of American society.
