Prada bets on short shorts, Etro pays tribute to Battiato in Milan

Rome, Jun 20 (EFE).- Italian luxury fashion house Prada opted for short shorts in its Spring Summer 2022 Men’s collection displayed in Milan on Sunday.

On the third day of the Milan Men’s Fashion Week, Etro fashion house paid tribute to Franco Battiato, the recently deceased Italian singer.

Prada showed its admiration for short shorts by combining them with a selection of different clothing items that covered a wide array of contrasting elements.

Jackets, shoes, backpacks, bags, purses, and hats, mostly black with a touch of yellow or pistachio green, were all featured in the show.

Short white rompers made an appearance on the men’s catwalk, combining with metal sole shoes, as well as tank tops and brightly colored leather trench coats and leather jackets.

Etro’s show kicked off with Battiato’s song the Era of the White Boar playing in the background and featured printed silk pajamas, gold-plated shirts, metallic-effect canvas pants, shorts, and animal leggings.

Milan is Italy’s fashion capital, home to other famous labels like Giorgio Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, and Versace. EFE
