Ciudad y agencias del condado abren centro de recursos para víctimas de tormenta

City, County Agencies Open Resource Center for Storm Victims

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL/WMC) — La Oficina de Manejo de Emergencias y Seguridad Nacional del Condado de Shelby se ha asociado con la Oficina de Manejo de Emergencias de la Ciudad de Memphis y la Cruz Roja Americana para abrir un Centro de Recursos de Agencias Múltiples para ayudar mejor a los ciudadanos afectados por La tormenta del lunes, 21 de octubre.

El centro abrió en la Iglesia Bautista Olivet, ubicada en 4450 Knight Arnold Road.

Representantes del Departamento de Servicios Humanos de Tennessee, la División de Servicios Comunitarios del Condado de Shelby, Memphis Housing and Community Development, la Cruz Roja Americana del Medio Sur, junto con otras agencias comunitarias estarán en el lugar para ayudar a los necesitados.

10:00 AM – 6:00 PM Jueves, 24 de octubre

10:00 AM – 6:00 PM Viernes 25 de octubre

10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Sábado 26 de octubre

Además del Centro de Recursos de Agencias Múltiples, la Cruz Roja Americana ha abierto un refugio para ciudadanos que han sido desplazados.

Funcionará las 24 horas del día en el Centro Comunitario Marion Hale ubicado en 4791 Willow Road.

El Ejército de Salvación está apoyando la operación del refugio.

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) — The Shelby County Emergency Management & Homeland Security Office is partnering with the City of Memphis Office of Emergency Management and the American Red Cross to open a Multi-Agency Resource Center to better assist citizens who were impacted by Monday’s storm.

The center is open at Olivet Baptist Church, located at 4450 Knight Arnold Road.

Representatives from the Tennessee Department of Human Services, Shelby County Division of Community Services, Memphis Housing and Community Development, the American Red Cross Mid-South, along with other community agencies will be on site to assist those in need.

The Multi-Agency Resource Center hours of operation are as follows:

10:00 AM – 6:00 PM Thursday, October 24th

10:00 AM – 6:00 PM Friday, October 25th

10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Saturday, October 26th

In addition to the Multi-Agency Resource Center, the American Red Cross has opened a shelter for citizens who have been displaced.

It will be operating 24 hours a day at the Marion Hale Community Center located at 4791 Willow Road for citizens who have been displaced.

The Salvation Army is supporting the operation of the shelter.
