Community Showers Coming to Memphis

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — The organization ShowerUp offers free mobile showers to those experiencing homelessness. Users have a private, clean and hot shower, with no time limits and unlimited hot water. The organization provides them with everything they need, including clean towels, toiletries, socks, underwear, and anything else they need for a great experience.

Now ShowerUp will begin operations on the streets of Memphis.

For that, they started a fundraising campaign of $44,000 to launch and cover the cost of operations during the first full year.

ShowerUp is a non-profit organization serving Nashville, Chattanooga, Chicago, Wichita, Huntsville, and Tampa Bay.
