Conservationists in Bali release baby turtles into the ocean

Hundreds of baby sea turtles on Tuesday were released into the sea in Indonesia’s Bali island as part of a conservation program. The release took place at the Kuta beach, one of the main areas sea turtle lay eggs in Bali. With beach closures due to the coronavirus pandemic, conservationists were able to protect approximately 15,000 sea turtle eggs.
