David Ospina takes Colombia to semifinals edging out Uruguay on penalties

Brasilia, Jul 3 (EFE).- Colombian goalkeeper David Ospina made two saves in the penalties against Uruguay, helping his team into the semifinals of the Copa America, after the two sides played out a goal-less draw on Saturday in Brasilia.

Ospina stopped shots by Jose Maria Gutierrez and Matias Viñas giving Colombia an unassailable 2-4 lead in the tie breaker, after the likes of Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani were kept quiet throughout the evening.

In the semifinal on Tuesday, Colombia will face the winner of the match between Argentina and Ecuador. EFE
