Real Madrid closes transfer market, impressed with Tchouaméni

Los Angeles, USA, Jul 22 (EFE).- Real Madrid closed its transfer market for the new season on Friday, relying on the team’s solidarity that triumphed last season and on new arrivals such as Frenchman Aurélien Tchouaméni and Germany’s Antonio Rüdiger.

Following the disappointment regarding Paris Saint Germain star Kylian Mbappé — who agreed a new contract with PSG until 2025 instead of joining the Spanish club — Real Madrid has had to change its planning for the new season and strengthen its defense and midfield.

The 80 million euros that Real Madrid paid for Tchouaméni are gradually beginning to pay off, with the club satisfied with the Frenchman’s forcefulness he has demonstrated during training.

Carlo Ancelotti’s team will be tested in the Spanish ‘El Clasico’ game against FC Barcelona that will be held at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas Saturday.

The Clasico is part of the North American pre-season tour that both teams are currently participating in and will be the fourth match between the two great rivals to be held abroad. EFE
