MEMPHIS, TN (LPL/WREG) — Una familia recibió disparos mientras conducían en Memphis en lo que parece haber sido un incidente de furia al volante.
El hombre dijo a la policía que estaba en Ridgeway y State Route 385 East cuando un Audi blanco comenzó a incorporarse a su carril, casi chocando contra su auto.
La víctima de 19 años dice que tocó la bocina al conductor. Dice que luego el conductor bajó la ventanilla y disparó contra su auto varias veces antes de alejarse.
Esas balas casi alcanzaron a su bebé recién nacido y a su esposa, pero dos balas alcanzaron su auto. Dice que ahora su tanque de gasolina tiene una fuga debido al daño.
A principios de este verano, en junio, cuatro niños y un hombre fueron hospitalizados después de que todos recibieran disparos en lo que la policía llamó un “incidente de furia al volante”.
Dos personas fueron acusadas en ese caso.
La policía de Memphis dice que en lo que va del año ha habido una disminución de casi el 11% en el número de tiroteos en las carreteras interestatales de Memphis, con 65 denunciados en comparación con 73 en esta misma época el año pasado.

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL/ WREG) — A man says he and his family were shot at while driving in Memphis in what appears to have been a road rage incident.
The man told police he was at Ridgeway and State Route 385 East when a white Audi started to merge into his lane, almost crashing into his car.
The 19-year-old victim says he honked his horn at the driver. He says the driver then rolled their window down and shot at his car several times before driving away.
Those bullets narrowly missed his newborn baby and wife, but two bullets hit his car. he says his gas tank is now leaking because of the damage.
Earlier this summer in June, four children and a man were hospitalized after they were all shot in what police called a “road rage incident.”
Two people were charged in that case.
Memphis Police say so far this year there has been a nearly 11% decrease in the number of shootings on Memphis interstates, with 65 reported compared to 73 at this time last year.
