Two Suspects in Custody in Deadly Shooting at Bolivar Family-Owned Restaurant
BOLIVAR, TN (WREG/LPL) — El Departamento de Policía de Bolívar confirmo que dos personas están bajo custodia luego de que un joven empleado de un restaurante fuera asesinado la noche de ayer martes en un restaurante familiar.
El jefe de la policía de Bolívar nos dice que John Curtis Gray, de 20 años, y un menor de edad, están bajo custodia policial serán procesados y acusados inmediatamente.
El incidente ocurrió alrededor de la hora de cierre en El Ranchito en la calle West Market.
Los sospechosos ingresaron al área de cocina con la intención de robar el lugar, dijo la policía.
Un empleado, identificado como Michael Ruiz de 19 años, fue asesinado a tiros durante el crimen.
La policía dice que están ofreciendo una recompensa de $25.000 en el caso.
Más arrestos están pendientes.

BOLIVAR, TN (WREG) — The Bolivar Police Department confirms two people are in custody after a young restaurant employee was shot and killed Tuesday evening at a family-owned restaurant.
The Bolivar police chief tells us 20-year-old John Curtis Gray and a juvenile are both in police custody and will be booked and charged immediately.
The incident happened around closing time at El Ranchito on West Market Street.
The suspects entered the kitchen area with the intent to rob the place, police said.
An employee, identified as 19-year-old Michael Ruiz, was shot and killed during the crime.
Police say they are offering a $25,000 reward in the case.
More arrests are pending.
