Five Nights of Jazz At the Library

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — La Biblioteca Central Benjamin Hooks será sede de la tercera entrega de “Cinco Noches de Jazz”, la cual es una colaboración entre Levitt Shell y las Bibliotecas Públicas de Memphis, Memphis Library Foundation y Friends of the Library.

Desde el viernes, 9 de marzo, a las 6:30 p.m. se tendrá varios géneros de jazz, así como un bar y comida cortesía de Kaleidoscope Kitchen.

La serie busca construir una comunidad conectando públicos nuevos y establecidos con las Bibliotecas Públicas de Memphis y con la música de jazz.

La primera presentación del 9 de marzo destaca The World Soul Project, un grupo de músicos que celebra la riqueza de las tradiciones musicales de todo el mundo fusionándolas en un brillante collage en torno a varios ritmos de ritmos brasileños y africanos, hip-hop, jazz, funk, y el sur de los Estados Unidos.

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — The Benjamin Hooks Central Library will host the third installment of “Five Nights of Jazz,” which is a collaboration between Levitt Shell and the Memphis Public Libraries, Memphis Library Foundation and Friends of the Library.

From Friday, March 9, at 6:30 p.m. There will be several jazz genres, as well as a bar and food courtesy of Kaleidoscope Kitchen.
