Donovan Mitchell steers Utah Jazz to 117-111 win over LA Clippers

Los Angeles, US, Jun 11 (EFE).- Donovan Mitchell scored 37 points to take the Utah Jazz to a 117-111 win over the Los Angeles Clippers as well a 2-0 lead in their Western Conference semifinal series at the Vivint Arena on Thursday.

Jordan Clarkson and Rudy Govert also pitched in with commendable performances, scoring 24 points and 13 points, 20 rebounds respectively.

For the Clippers, who had also been 0-2 in the first round against the Dallas Mavericks, Reggie Jackson, with 29 points, and Paul George, with 27 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists, were the main contributors.

Game 3 will be played in Staples Center in Los Angeles. EFE
