MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — El miércoles, 24 de octubre, se llevó a cabo una pequeña ceremonia para darle inicio a la construcción de lo que será la nueva “Casa de Ensueño” del St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Representantes de ALSAC/St. Jude, acompañados por el alcalde Wyatt Bunker y los comisionados de Lakeland, además de Greg Bridgers (dueño de la constructora Southern Serenity Homes) y Doug Swink (Renaissance Realty), entre otras personalidades, estuvieron presentes en el acto de excavación.
Con un valor estimado de $450.000, la próxima “Casa de Ensueño” estará ubicada en el 5046 Adagio Lane, Lakeland, TN 38002. Los boletos del sorteo -se espera vender un total de 14.500 boletos para este sorteo- podrán ser reservados por $100 a partir de la última semana del mes de marzo y el ganador será elegido el 23 de junio del 2019.
El “St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway” es uno de los eventos de recaudación de fondos más grandes para el St. Jude en todo el país y ha recaudado hasta ahora más de $350 millones.
