ANNUAL SHELBY COUNTY RABIES VACCINATION DRIVE

SHELBY COUNTY, TN (LPL/Comunicado de prensa) — La campaña anual de vacunación contra la rabia organizada por el Programa de Control de Vectores del Departamento de Salud del Condado de Shelby (SCHD) se llevará a cabo el sábado 27 de abril y el sábado 11 de mayo en dos ubicaciones convenientes.

Se les invita a los dueños de mascotas del Condado de Shelby a que lleven a sus perros y gatos a cualquiera de las ubicaciones enumeradas a continuación entre las 1:00 p.m. y 5:00 p.m. el 27 de abril o el 11 de mayo para recibir vacunas contra la rabia de bajo costo y etiquetas de licencia.

SHELBY COUNTY, TN (Press Release) — The annual Rabies Vaccination Drive hosted by the Shelby County Health Department (SCHD) Vector Control Program will be held on Saturday, April 27th and Saturday, May 11th, at two convenient locations.

Shelby County pet owners are encouraged to bring their dogs and cats to either location listed below between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on April 27th or May 11th to receive low-cost rabies vaccinations and license tags.

The locations are: Benjamin Hooks Library – 3030 Poplar Avenue and the Shelby County East Government Complex – 1075 Mullins Station Road in the Building W-1 parking lot.

The cost of the rabies tag varies according to the pet owner’s city of residence and the reproductive status of the pet, but the price includes both the rabies shot and the license tag for the pet’s collar. Below are the costs by municipality:
