MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) — The large FedEx subsidiary run by Richard Smith is engaged in talks to move its headquarters to Downtown’s Gibson Guitar building.
The company has been in negotiations for over a month to take over the building.
Right now, FedEx Trade Networks headquarters resides in the Crescent Center in East Memphis.
The 125,000 square foot building went on the market last fall after the guitar manufacturer announced it was leaving the facility after 17 years.
