International Desk, Oct 4 (EFE).- Facebook’s services and applications (Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger) on Monday went down in various parts of the world, users denounced on the Downdetector website.
Tens of thousands of users in the United States, Mexico, France, Romania, Norway, Georgia and Greece among others denounced the outage.
In the specific case of the popular instant messaging application WhatsApp, users denounced that when sending messages, the message “connecting” and a clock icon appear, but the content is not sent.
“We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing our apps and products,” Facebook posted to its Twitter account. “We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience.” EFE
