Ferran Torres “very happy” after undergoing tests for Barça move

Barcelona, Spain, Dec 27 (EFE).- Ferran Torres on Monday said he was “very happy” after a medical checkup ahead of joining FC Barcelona on a move from Manchester City.

Torres arrived at the Barcelona Hospital for the medical test after both clubs had reached an agreement to seal the deal.

“I am very happy,” the 21-year-old said after the medical checkup and before going to the Joan Gamper sports city for further physical tests.

The Spanish forward has nearly fully recovered from a fractured right foot he sustained on 10 October and seems to be ready for his Barcelona debut in the coming weeks.

Barcelona are expected to sign him for five seasons. EFE
