MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — The young Mexican Alicia Sánchez is one of several Latin artists participating in Disney On Ice’s “Dream Big,” a beautiful ice skating show that will be presented at the Landers Center from March 12 to March 15, 2020.

According to the professional skater from Monterrey, this show is not only a combination of Disney’s most popular fairy tales, but also includes for the first time an important aspect of the Mexican culture: the Day of the Dead, along with the main characters from the movie “Coco.” Obviously, Mickey Mouse and his friends, as well as other famous Disney characters are part of the show.

“We have nine stories to tell, from the classic princesses – Cinderella, Aurora, Belle, Ariel, Jasmine, Rapunzel, and the new princesses Anna, Elsa, and Moana – to Miguel, from ‘Coco,’ who enters the world of the dead and plays with them trying to make his dream come true, which is to be a famous musician,” Sanchez said in an exclusive interview with La Prensa Latina. “So, basically all the stories are related to achieving a dream. It is a very varied, magical and musical show, and the truth is that, since we mix many stories, it is super complete and very fun for the whole family,” added the skater with more than 20 years of experience and who has been with Disney On Ice for 6 years.

Being part of the ensemble, Sanchez appears in “Be Our Guest,” from “Beauty and the Beast,” and in “Un Poco Loco” (A Little Crazy), from “Coco.” She is also one of the mermaids in the “Under the Sea” number from “The Little Mermaid,” where she takes a group of children in a boat. “This part of the show is very cool because the audience can have a direct interaction with the characters.”

As such, Disney On Ice Presents “Dream Big” will have 7 showtimes on this occasion:

¤ Thursday, March 12 – 7 p.m.

¤ Friday, March 13 – 7 p.m.

¤ Saturday, March 14 – 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
