Governor to Make Economic Development Announcement in Downtown Memphis
MEMPHIS, TN (LPL/WREG) — El gobernador de Tennessee, Bill Lee, estará en nuestra ciudad para hacer un anuncio de desarrollo económico.
El evento está programado para las 11 a.m. hoy, en la esquina del teniente George W. Lee Ave. y South B.B. King Blvd, que es donde se encuentra Gibson.
Como se informó en Daybreak, FedEx Logistics se ha involucrado en negociaciones avanzadas con los propietarios del edificio en el centro de Memphis y se espera que haga algún tipo de anuncio en algún momento de esta semana.
Actualmente la sede de Logisitic se encuentra en el Crescent Center en East Memphis.
Si el anuncio es de hecho acerca de la mudanza de FedEx, se ubicarían tres sedes principales dentro de las cuatro cuadras del centro.

The event is scheduled for 11 a.m. today at the corner of Lt. George W. Lee Ave. and South B.B. King Blvd, which is where Gibson is located.
As reported on Daybreak, FedEx Logistics has reportedly been involved in advanced negotiations with the owners of the the building in Downtown Memphis and are expected to make some sort of announcement sometime this week.
Currently Logisitic’s headquarters is in the Crescent Center in East Memphis.
If the announcement is indeed about FedEx moving that would place three major headquarters within four blocks in downtown.
