The fireworks are overloaded with pyrotechnics

PhotoGS Fireworks is recalling about 260 fireworks that are overloaded with pyrotechnics intended to produce an audible effect, violating the federal regulatory standard for the products.

Overloaded fireworks can result in a greater than expected explosion, posing explosion and burn hazards to consumers.

No incidents or injuries are reported.

This recall involves consumer fireworks with the brand name, product name and the item number printed on the outside wrapping:

The fireworks, manufactured in China, were sold exclusively at GS Fireworks in Wyoming, Mich., from March 2018, through May 2018, for between $10 and $125.

What to do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled fireworks and return them to GS Fireworks for a full refund.
