Hawks tie Bucks 2-2 in basketball Eastern Conference final

Sports Desk, Jun 29 (EFE).- The Hawks tied the Bucks 2-2 in the United States’ Eastern Conference basketball final with a clear 110-88 victory achieved without star player Trae Young and resolved in the third quarter when Giannis Antetokounmpo was injured.

The Bucks player, who suffered from a hyperextended knee, wasn’t the only player to leave the court early. In the fourth quarter, Hawks center Clint Capela also came off after being elbowed in the eye.

But with or without Antetokounmpo, the Hawks did not give the Bucks any option, who never were ahead on the scoreboard and at one point were losing by 25 points.

The top scorer of the night was Lou Williams, who replaced Young, injured in Sunday’s third game, with 21 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 1 steal. Hawks guard Bogdan Bogdanovic had 20 points (6 of 11 triples), 3 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals.

In the Bucks Jrue Holiday finished with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists, Khris Middleton had 16 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals, and Antetokounmpo had 14 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 block. EFE
