Madrid, Feb 3 (efe-epa).- Real Madrid’s Belgian midfielder Eden Hazard has been sidelined once again after injuring his left thigh in training on Wednesday, the club said.
It is the same injury he suffered in November last year on his right leg during a league match against Alavés. On that occasion, it ruled him out until the end of the year.
It comes as a blow to the playmaker, whose stint at Real Madrid has been marred by fitness setbacks since his arrival from Chelsea in 2019.
The playmaker is due to be out of the squad for four to five weeks, meaning he will likely be ruled out for the Champions League round-of-16 match against Atalanta in late February.EFE-EPA
