Hispanic Family Is Another Victim of Car Thefts in Memphis; the Father Begs the Thieves Not to Take His Son

Familia hispana sufre robo de auto, padre de familia ruega a ladrones que no se lleven a su hijo

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — A Hispanic family has been one of the latest victims of car thefts when their car was stolen at the Canterbury Woods Apartments last weekend.

Four young African American men approached the family in the pool area with the intention of stealing their car.

After threatening their victims with AK-47-type weapons, the thieves took the car still with an 18-month-old boy inside. Before they fled, the father begged them to let him get the boy out.

After removing the child from the car, the thieves left to an unknown direction.

Anyone with information about this incident may call Crime Stoppers at 528-CASH. You will be given a personal identification number, which will remain completely anonymous.

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — Una familia hispana sufrió un robo de auto en los departamentos de Canterbury Woods el pasado fin de semana.

Cuatro jóvenes afroamericanos se acercaron a la familia en el área de la alberca (piscina) con la intención de robarles su auto.

Después de amenazar a sus víctimas con armas tipo AK-47, los ladrones tomaron el carro, aún con un niño de 18 meses adentro. Antes de que huyeran, el padre les suplicó que le dejaran sacar al niño.

Después de retirar al niño del auto, los ladrones salieron en dirección desconocida.
