UN: At least 1,151 civilians, 103 minors killed in Ukraine

Geneva, Mar 28 (EFE).- At least 1,151 civilians have been killed and 1,824 injured in Ukraine since Russia launched a full-scale invasion last month, the United Nations reported Monday.

Out of the civilians killed, 103 were minors, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) said.

Most civilian casualties were caused by explosive weapons, including shelling from heavy artillery and multiple launch rocket systems, and missile and air strikes, the UN said.

“OHCHR believes that the actual figures are considerably higher, as the receipt of information from some locations where intense hostilities have been going on has been delayed and many reports are still pending corroboration,” it said in a statement. EFE
