Investigators Identify Victim Killed in 1-40 Pedestrian Crash

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) — The victim struck in a fatal pedestrian crash that shut down a section of I-40 in Germantown Wednesday night has been identified.
According to investigators, the victim has been identified as 61-year-old Destin Smith.
As of Wednesday night, the Memphis Police Department said no charges have been filed in the case.
This is an ongoing investigation.
