Investigators Look For Man Who Set Fire To Memphis Tax Services

MEMPHIS, TN (FOX 13 News) — Days after several Memphis tax services were set on fire, the Memphis Fire Department (MFD) released pictures of the suspected arsonist.

MFD said the man started his arson spree on February 5, 2023 at the Washington Credit Tax Solution on Mt. Moriah.

Two days later, MFD said the same man set fire to two other Washington Credit Tax Solution offices on Elvis Presley and Ramill, respectively.

MFD said the fires were intentionally ignited using a poured accelerant and an open flame device.

Video from the arson shows a man walking around a room, pouring a liquid on tables and chairs and then flames igniting.

If you know who this man is, MFD asked you to call Crime Stoppers at 901-528-CASH.

Any information which leads to an arrest, in this case, could be worth up to $2,000.
