Paul George guides Clippers to 1st win over Suns in Conference finals

Los Angeles, USA, Jun 24 (EFE).- Paul George led the Los Angeles Clippers 106-92 in game 3 of the Western Conference finals over the Phoenix Suns in Staples Center in Los Angeles on Thursday.

This was the Clippers’ first victory over the Suns in the best of seven contest that is now poised 2-1.

George, in the absence of Kawhi Leonard, posted a double-double of 27 points and 15 rebounds, and Reggie Jackson contributed 23 points, while the Croatian Ivica Zubac too posted a double-double of 15 points and 16 rebounds.

For the Suns, Deandre Ayton scored 18 points, Deandre Ayton – whose performances were decisive in the first two games – contributed 15 minutes, and Chris Paul posted a double-double of 15 points and 12 assists.

Game 4 will be held in the same venue on Saturday.
