K-pop group BTS announces four concerts in Las Vegas in April

Seoul, Feb 23 (EFE).- South Korean K-pop boy band BTS will hold four in-person concerts in Las Vegas in the United States in April, their music label announced on Wednesday.

The concerts will take place on Apr. 8, 9, 15 and 16 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Big Hit Music said on social media.

Those who do not get tickets for the concerts will be able to buy tickets for an in-person event at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, also in Las Vegas, where the four concerts will be screened live.

The Apr. 16 event will also be broadcast live online, according to Big Hit Music.

After holding three concerts in Seoul on Mar. 10, 12 and 13 – their first performance in the country in more than two years – BTS will leave for the US to attend the Grammy Awards, where they’ve been nominated for best pop duo/group performance, on Apr. 3 and will remain there to prepare for the Las Vegas concerts.

On Tuesday, Big Hit announced that one of the seven BTS members, V (whose real name is Kim Tae-hyung), had successfully recovered from Covid-19.

V is the fifth BTS band member to test positive for Covid-19 after Suga, RM, and Jin contracted it in December and Jimin last month. EFE
