Khedira joins new teammates at Hertha Berlin training session

Berlin, Feb 2 (efe-epa).- Sami Khedira on Tuesday took part in his first training session since his move to German Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin.

The 2014 FIFA World Cup winner left Italian champions Juventus on Monday, the final day of the January transfer window.

He won five Serie A titles and three Coppa Italias during his spell in Italy, and appeared in two Champions League finals, both of which were lost to LaLiga heavyweights Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Khedira, who began his career with VfB Stuttgart, returns to the Bundesliga after more than a decade abroad that also saw him spend five years at Madrid, where he won the 2014 Champions League. EFE-EPA
