MLGW Underground Electrical Project Will Last Until June 2019

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL/MLGW) — Memphis Light Gas and Water ha iniciado un proyecto de modernización eléctrica subterránea que afectará a algunas calles y causará cortes de energía ocasionales en ciertas áreas. El trabajo afectará residentes en tres ubicaciones: Blacksmith Drive, Circle Road y Braden Drive, que se encuentran en el área de Northaven.

El trabajo se llevará a cabo diariamente de 7 a.m. a 3 p.m. para los próximos seis a ocho meses con una fecha de finalización programada de junio de 2019. Estos cierres son necesarios para mejorar el servicio eléctrico a estos clientes.

Las carreteras no se cerrarán, pero habrá congestión de tráfico debido a los trabajos de construcción.

Se recomienda a los automovilistas que eviten estas áreas o encuentren una ruta alternativa, ya que habrá interrupciones en el tráfico.

MEMPHIS, TN (MLGW) — Memphis Light Gas and Water has begun an underground Electrical Retrofit project that will affect some streets and cause occasional power outages in certain areas. The work will affect

residents at three locations: Blacksmith Drive, Circle Road and Braden Drive which are located in the Northaven area.

Work will take place daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the next six to eight months with a scheduled completion date of June 2019. These closures are necessary to improve the electrical service to these customers.

Roads will not be closed but there will be traffic congestion due to the construction work

Motorists are advised to avoid these areas or find an alternate route as there will be traffic interruptions.
