La Mansión del Pink Palace tendrá su gran reapertura el 8 de diciembre, presentando una nueva guía turística móvil
Pink Palace Mansion Grand Re-Opening Coming December 8th, Featuring a New Mobile Tour Guide
MEMPHIS, TN (LPL/Pink Palace) — Cuando la Mansión del Pink Palace vuelva a abrir sus puertas el 8 de diciembre, los visitantes tendrán su propia guía turística personal a través de la nueva aplicación móvil, llamada “Mobile Tour Guide”. Dicha aplicación les brindará a los visitantes una manera fácil y conveniente de aprender más sobre la historia de las exhibiciones en la Mansión, más allá de lo que está escrito en los carteles. El “Mobile Tour Guide” actuará como un docente virtual y estará disponible para descargar en App Store y Google Play.
“Creo que los visitantes encontrarán que la aplicación realmente mejorará su experiencia con datos divertidos y notas históricas sobre cada una de las exhibiciones”, dijo Bill Walsh, Gerente de Marketing de Pink Palace Family of Museums.
Después de casi dos años de renovación y construcción, la tan esperada reapertura de la Mansión del Pink Palace servirá también para presentar por primera vez algunas exhibiciones nuevas y otras completamente renovadas, incluyendo una réplica de la tienda (supermercado) Piggly Wiggly, una Tienda Country y un Circo Miniatura de Clyde Parke (Clyde Parke Miniature Circus) restaurado -la exhibición del Circo Miniatura de Clyde Parke estará en el segundo piso de la Mansión, el cual no ha estado abierto al público desde 1978.

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL/Pink Palace) — When the Pink Palace Mansion Re-Opens December 8, visitors will have their own personal tour guide via the new Mobile Tour Guide guided tour app. The guided tour app of the Pink Palace Mansion will give visitors an easy and convenient way to learn more about the back story of the Mansion exhibits beyond the display markers and signage. The Mobile Tour Guide will act as a virtual docent. The Mobile Tour Guide app will be available for download at both The App Store and Google Play.
“I think visitors will find that the app will really enhance their experience with fun facts and historic notes about the exhibit displays,” said Bill Walsh, Marketing Manager at Pink Palace Family of Museums.
After nearly two years of renovation and construction, the highly anticipated re-opening of the Pink Palace Mansion will be the premiere of the Mansion’s new and refurbished exhibits including a totally reconstructed original Piggly Wiggly Store replica and Country Store, along with a restored Clyde Parke Miniature Circus – the Clyde Parke Miniature Circus exhibit will reside on the second story of the Mansion, which has not been open to the public since 1978.
